How to Create a Problem Solving Culture

Ever since its inception, businesses and industries has been successfully adapting itself to the many changes. Often in all businesses the initial years are focussed on the build phase of the enterprise. Then comes the challenge when you need to scale the business to be able to satisfy the demands of customer, the shareholders, the suppliers and the employees.

Julie will provide an overview of modern and proven problem-solving principles that will give you the tools and the confidence to stay true to your business objectives. Her concepts will enhance your leadership where youthful enthusiasm for the next great thing in enterprise excellence can actually be a distraction from your core business objectives – she will help set you on the path to ensure your business is a self-healing business – where the dependence and reliance on expensive consultancy firms and experts becomes a thing of the past.   Julie believes that to truly become a problem-solving organisation is when the teams themselves without support from outside their teams resolve the majority of business problems. This again will not be possible without empowering each of your employees with the right skills, tools, methods and disciplines to become problem solvers themselves.

Julie Dimmick is an exceptional businesswoman. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated broad-based and visionary thinking with a natural and innate capability to bring transformation, improvements and innovation to successful business outcomes.

From a career in Telecommunications where she found herself playing an important role in the start up of the Nbn to running a large scale renewable energy company, Julie is a trailblazer who is now tackling the effects of climate change and corporations commitment to Global Social Responsibility.

Julie is defined by her industry peers as the number one problem-solver because she can look at any situation, sum up all the parts and build a successful and more importantly sustainable and scalable outcome whilst keeping an eye on the environment. She is a strong advocate for understanding the key business function of digitization and social responsibility and the role it plays in organizational success.

In recent years Julie has worked successfully for businesses in the Renewable Energy, Pharmaceutical, Electrical, Telecommunications, Sustainability, Manufacturing, Construction and more...

The workshop will commence at 11am sharp. A light lunch will be served at 12:15pm and the networking will begin at this time. Julie recommends that you bring along a notepad and your business cards.  It is also worthy to come with a colleague or a friend.  This is a practical workshop that has an element of learning, doing and sharing.
