Premier Anna Bligh said well-known Toowoomba businesses Russell Mineral Equipment, Pacific Seeds and Stahmann Farms had all achieved significant exporting success in the past year.

“Russell Mineral Equipment (RME) has again received an Export Award winner’s trophy in the Large Advanced Manufacturer category and will progress through to the national awards,” Ms Bligh said.

“Recognised as the world leader in grinding mill relining technology, RME’s sales have grown by 400 percent in four years. RME’s increasing proportion of exports have generated at least 140 new jobs and exporting contributed 79 percent of total company revenue in 2007/08.” ♦
