| In September 2006, Gold Coast City
Council selected an alliance of private sector partners to form a working alliance
to increase the height of the Hinze Dam wall.
This Alliance consists of Seqwater and three
private sector partners - Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM), Thiess and URS - that are
leaders in major water infrastructure projects, each with their own specialisation.
Join us to hear Paul Bird, Alliance
Stakeholder Communication Manager, update us on the project to-date and its
milestones as the project nears its completion at the end of 2010
Paul has more than 25 years of
communication experience including news, current affairs and political
journalism, community engagement on major infrastructure and development
projects, and emergency management and communication with the Victorian
ambulance.
