Women in Technology (WiT) and the Australian Computer Society (ACS) are presenting the 2008 Debate IT Luncheon – on the theme, who keeps technology better, the Ys or the Y nots? – in Brisbane on November 28.

Panellists representing Generations X, Y and the Baby Boomers in the sixth Debate IT event are Peter Grant of Microsoft, Kirsty Garreett of Valintus, Phillip Nyssen of Fujitsu, Charlene Clark of QRail, Brad Bazley of Grant Thornton Australia and Tracy Whitelaw of MyCyberTwin.

The event opens at 12noon at Mercure Hotel’s Chelsea Ballroom, North Quay, and is also sponsored by Skillgate and Diversiti and hosted by Samantha Kume. It is the final social event of the year for WiT.

The previous evening, November 27, WiT is staging a networking evening at the Onyx Bar and Restaurant, Milton from 5pm to 8pm. The networking evening is sponsored by QUT’s Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation.
