With more than 770sqm of floor space, 'Siana Valley' will be the largest restaurant and bar in the emerging Valley Gateway Precinct.

Located on the corner of Brookes and Wickham Street, HQ is set to become the new destination for working, dining and public events when it opens next year.

Managing Director of Insyde Restaurant Group Grant Johnston said Siana Valley would be a sister venue to Siana City and a welcome addition to the expanding Siana business.

"Siana Valley will further develop the Siana concept of a communal dining experience, drawing on unique culinary influences from across Asia," Mr Johnston said.

"The $2 million fit out will include dining space for 300 guests, private function and dining rooms, two bars and a cocktail lounge across two floors.

"These distinct spaces will cater to a range of visitors, whether the visit is for business, leisure or a special occasion."

Leighton Properties Executive Director and State Manager, Queensland Andrew Borger said he was very excited to have Siana Valley on board at HQ.

"Siana is renowned for its fine food, elegant atmosphere and attention to detail," Mr Borger said.

"We think it is an excellent fit for HQ and will be a popular option for a range of experiences for HQ's working population and the broader community to enjoy relaxed mid-week dining, after work drinks, and corporate functions.

"It is also great to see a high end restaurant group expanding into Fortitude Valley, signalling the strength of Brisbane's economy and their confidence in the Valley as one of the city's fastest growing residential and commercial precincts."

General Manager of Leighton Contractors Northern Region Darren Weir added that Siana Valley was just the right fit for HQ's design and aim to be an active precinct from day through to night.

"HQ, our new home in Fortitude Valley represents our dynamic, innovative and cutting-edge approach. We want our people, other tenants and locals to enjoy not only a world-class, environmentally sustainable work environment but also a lifestyle atmosphere that brings people together throughout the day and after hours," Mr Weir said.

HQ has been marked as a new retail hot spot, with cafes, wine bars and other operators seeking tenancies around the street level public plaza.

HQ received development approval from Brisbane City Council in mid October 2008 and work on site is well underway. Completion is anticipated for early 2010.

Construction will commence on Siana Valley in January 2010, with the public launch anticipated for April 2010.
