As the weather cools down, things are heating up at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat with an array of exciting events planned for this Autumn and Winter.

Kick-start a healthy lifestyle with O’Reilly’s ‘Wellbeing Weekend’ (4 – 6 June), an invigorating experience combining fitness, health and fun in the natural surrounds of Lamington National Park. Hosted by personal trainer, Tiffany Sheerin, this weekend is offered exclusively for women and offers the opportunity to focus on YOU with action-packed workouts, education, relaxation, plus the chance to meet new friends. You’ll feel ready to take on the world!

From training the body to training the mind and spirit, ‘Nature Conscious Retreats’ (12 – 14 June and 31 July – 2 August) allow you to de-stress, detox and commune with nature. Professional Holistic Counsellor, Dr Lilliana Corredor, offers guidance through meditation. Clear your mind and uplift your spirit with inspirational meditation sessions on the banks of a waterfall or at the roots of ancient millenarian trees.

Be star struck at O’Reilly’s! Free from the light pollution of the city, O'Reilly's ‘Stargazing Weekend’ (18 – 20 June) offers the perfect vantage point to view the wonders of our solar system. Join NASA Representative Noeleen Lowndes for intriguing astronomic presentations and night viewings, and see the universe in a new light.

Capture Lamington National Park in its best light at the ‘Ultimate Photography Lightroom Weekend’ (30 July – 1 August). Hosted by renowned photographer Darran Leal and digital specialist Philip Andrews, this event is a rare chance to develop your photography and Adobe Lightroom skills with some of Australia’s leading experts. With cooler, comfortable conditions, Winter is perfect bushwalking season on the mountain.

O’Reilly’s annual ‘Off the Beaten Track’ program (17 July, 4 – 6 August, 11 – 13 August and 2 October) offers experienced bushwalkers the opportunity to visit some of the spectacular areas of Lamington and surrounds that can’t be accessed by graded pathways, including the site of the ill-fated Stinson plane crash.

Celebrate the country lifestyle and enjoy some top-tapping, knee-slapping good old fashioned fun with a weekend of Bush Dancing, Bush Tucker and Bush Poetry (27 – 29 August). Kick your heels up with traditional Aussie bush dancing and bush poetry, or experience a taste of the country with true blue bush tucker.

Whatever the season, O’Reilly’s really is the natural place to escape. For further information, contact O’Reilly’s Reservations on 1800 688 722 or visit www.oreillys.com.au.
