Brisbane Metro Business Enterprise Centre (BEC) in partnership with BEC Australia and Brisbane's South West Chamber of Commerce (SWCC) are holding flood recovery information sessions for businesses. The first is today (Tuesday, Jan 25) at 3pm.
If your business has been affected by the recent flood and you need to find out more on how banks, insurance companies, telecommunications, Government departments (Centrelink, ATO, ASIC, DEEDI) are all addressing recovery assistance and support to businesses in a range of different ways, then you will see how you can benefit from this information session.
SWCC will also be providing information on how to claim for the initial $5,000 disaster payment for business.
As SWCC lost its main venue, the Queensland Tennis Centre at Tennyson, due to extensive flood damage, MiniMovers has offered its boardroom for the presentation.
Numbers will be limited for the Tuesday session, however SWCC will be holding a later one at another venue.
The event will run from 3pm to 5pm at MiniMovers Head Office, ont he corner of Elizabeth St and Beaudesert Rd, Acacia Ridge.
