South East Queensland's booming Greater Springfield area welcomed an exclusive new residential development from national property developer Australand last month -- The Springs.
The Springs is a masterplanned estate located in the emerging community of Augustine Heights and the first stage release of the 21.9 hectare community features 15 residential allotments Australand-built house and land packages.
Australand's The Springs offers a range of first-class architecturally designed homes priced from $382,000 to $445,000, which come inclusive of landscaped gardens, fencing, letterbox, driveways and paths, which minimises the often stressful building process faced by land buyers.
Australand's Queensland general manager, Nigel Edgar, said convenience is at the forefront of The Springs prime residential estate's appeal and the area's recent expansion means it is in close proximity to major shopping complex, The Orion Shoppingtown, and offers easy access to Brisbane CBD via the Centenary Highway.
"The western corridor is known for its family-friendly appeal and convenience to recreational facilities, such as parks, major shopping outlets and the nearby Brookwater Golf Club, which appeal to all ages and lifestyles," Mr Edgar said.
Mr Edgar said Australand is excited at the launch of the new Augustine Heights development, which comes as Brisbane's south-west hub of Springfield experiences population growth and an influx of first home buyers and young families.
"We identified a growing buyer demand in Greater Springfield for high quality housing and our vision was to create a unique development that hit the mark with buyers who want to secure the ultimate Springfield residential address," Mr Edgar said.
Diverse developer Australand produces prime residential estates that appeal to a wider market group and excel in fostering a strong community environment through shared facilities, such as parkland.
New houses at The Springs estate, which is between Santa Monica Drive and Augusta Parkway, are designed to take full advantage of Queensland's alfresco lifestyle, incorporating relaxed living spaces that adjoin courtyards and cross-ventilation to maximise cooling breezes.
"Surrounded by over 4.5ha of national parkland and waterways, Australand's planners have incorporated a strong focus on outdoor communal areas at The Springs, including a central barbecue and parkland precinct, to take advantage of the area's natural beauty and create positive community relations," Mr Edgar said.
"The Springs' prime location offers an outstanding level of accessibility to Greater Springfield and residents will be able to reap the benefits of the proposed public transport services and a range of health, shopping and educational services, such as the University of Southern Queensland, that are currently under construction," Mr Edgar said.
"Commuting will be made easier with a planned $800million Darra to Springfield transport corridor to be completed in 2015, including a railway station to be built near Orion shopping centre which will also dramatically improve accessibility to Brisbane, Gold Coast and Ripley Valley for The Springs residents."
