When Brisbane-based Team Vodafone Racing and Triple Eight Race Engineering announced their migration from Ford to Holden, Eagers Holden was first off the mark.

Seeing huge promotional value in taking over the sponsorship mantle from the previous dealership, Metro Ford – also an AP Eagers business – Eagers Holden not only migrated the livery of the race cars but also equipped the team with fully-branded promotional road vehicles.

Vodafone Racing drivers Jamie Whincup – the reigning V8 Supercars champion – and Craig Lowndes visited the dealership recently (below) to meet the staff and collect their Holden Statesman and Calais V Sportwagon road vehicles. Mr Lowndes is a three-time Australian Touring Car Champion and four-time winner of the Bathurst 1000. Mr Whincup won his second consecutive V8 Supercars Driver’s Championship last year. Eagers is using the marketing opportunities to great effect, supporting Team Vodafone with information on the Eagers Holden website.
